About us

R&J Sztandera company is a family business, which has been operating since 2008.
We are located in Ozorów town – Mazowieckie voivodeship.
We have been trusted by european clients for many years.
Our champignons are hand-picked, so we can ensure our clients, that the product they get is selected especially for them.

Currently we have 44 modern cultivation halls, which gives us 44 000 m2 total cultivation area. We produce about 265 tons of fresh champignons weekly.

Cultivation technology

Many technological systems are responsible for the appropriate air temperature, humidity and the level of carbon dioxide in the cultivation hall, so as to ensure optimal conditions for the growth of mushroom fruiting bodies. They are controlled by electronic climate controllers. After picking, the mushrooms go to the vacuum cooling device VACUM so that they reach the temperature of 2 ° C as quickly as possible. This process takes about 15 minutes and allows the mushrooms to keep their snow-white color longer.

A high-quality mushroom substrate, rich in nutrients, is one of the main factors in obtaining appropriate fruiting bodies. The substrate used for cultivation is produced in a related family company, Unikost, which has existed since 1995. We are one of the few families in Poland that concentrates the production of soil and mushrooms. Thus, we have full control over the production process. Thanks to this, we are sure that our mushrooms are healthy, safe and always of the best quality.
